Patent Co. Has No Luck In Casino Equipment Suit

Law360, New York (July 28, 2009, 3:45 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has tossed Patent Rights Protection Group LLC's suit alleging that casino gaming companies Cadillac Jack Inc. and SPEC International Inc. infringed two gaming equipment patents, citing lack of personal jurisdiction over the defendants.

Judge Kent J. Dawson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada dismissed the case Monday, finding that the court was the improper venue for the suit.
