Injured Man's Atty Didn't Belong On Stand, Fla. Court Rules

By Diana Novak Jones (March 6, 2019, 8:07 PM EST) -- A Florida appellate court ordered a new trial in a man's suit against law firm Crary Buchanan PA over his collision with a firm-owned car, saying Wednesday the trial judge improperly required the man's attorney to testify.

The appellate panel said the trial judge overseeing Frank Bellezza's suit against the firm and the driver of one of its cars was wrong to compel Bellezza's attorney to testify before the jury about her firm's financial relationship with the doctors who treated Bellezza after the crash.
