Stormy Daniels Gets New Counsel After Avenatti Drops Her

Law360 (March 12, 2019, 9:52 PM EDT) -- Stormy Daniels, whose high-profile lawsuit against President Donald Trump over a hush money agreement just suffered a blow, said on Tuesday that she’d hired a new attorney to replace Michael Avenatti after the embattled Los Angeles-based lawyer dropped the adult film actress as a client.

Daniels, whose legal name is Stephanie Clifford, said in a Tuesday tweet that she had retained Clark Brewster of Tulsa, Oklahoma's Brewster & De Angelis PLLC to serve as her “primary counsel on all legal issues.”
