Law360 (March 13, 2019, 6:38 PM EDT) -- The Miami-Dade Commission on Ethics and Public Trust voted unanimously Wednesday to dismiss an ethics complaint against soccer legend David Beckham and Miami businessman Jorge Mas over their no-bid plan to replace the city of Miami's public golf course with a $1 billion stadium-entertainment project.

The vote dismissed the complaint by Miami attorney David J. Winker, who has been battling Beckham's proposal for a Major League Soccer stadium on the site of the city's golf course through lawsuits and ethics complaints that argue the stadium's proponents, operating as Miami Freedom Park LLC, are trying to work around a city charter requirement...
