Sex Abuse Suit Revived Against Atty For FLDS Church Leader

Law360 (March 14, 2019, 10:02 PM EDT) -- The Tenth Circuit on Thursday partially revived a suit from former members of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, led by the jailed sex offender Warren Jeffs, claiming a law firm and one of its partners helped facilitate the sexual abuse of children.

The federal appellate court reversed portions of the suit’s dismissal and sent it back to Utah federal court after finding enough detail in the allegations to warrant further examination of claims against Utah-based Snow Christensen & Martineau PC and partner Rodney Parker.
