Podcaster Beats Ex-Trump Aide's $100M Gizmodo Suit

Law360 (April 18, 2019, 5:05 PM EDT) -- A Florida federal judge dismissed a podcast host from former Donald Trump aide Jason Miller's $100 million defamation suit over a news report saying Miller tried to slip a woman he'd impregnated an abortion-inducing pill, ruling that Florida lacks jurisdiction over the podcaster.

U.S. District Judge Cecilia M. Altonaga on Wednesday granted Will Menaker's motion to dismiss him from Miller's suit against Gizmodo Media Group over a story published by the website Splinter about a custody battle between Miller and his ex-girlfriend Arlene "A.J." Delgado.
