Garvey Schubert Can Seek Indemnification In License Row

Law360 (April 23, 2019, 9:04 PM EDT) -- Garvey Schubert Barer has won the right to pursue equitable indemnification from any judgment that might be entered in a malpractice claim against the firm and a former attorney who has been accused of botching a license application for a low-power television station.

The ruling Monday from a D.C. federal court allows the firm to continue seeking that any eventual liability split between them over the faulty license request be based according to the parties' comparable fault.
