Diamond Resorts Settles Suit Against Timeshare Exit Atty

Law360 (May 9, 2019, 7:24 PM EDT) -- Diamond Resorts International on Wednesday said it has settled its claims against Orlando attorney Austin Aaronson, ending a suit that accused Aaronson and his firm of making false promises to potential clients that they provide a "secret sauce" of legal remedies to release time-share members from their contracts with Diamond.

The lawsuit was the first of the many targeting timeshare exit attorneys to go to a jury, but the trial was cut short after three days when the parties notified the court that they had reached a deal.

Details of the settlement were not made public.
