Kramer Levin Nabs Tax Partner From Stroock

Law360 (May 21, 2019, 2:25 PM EDT) -- Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP has brought on a former Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP partner to the New York tax practice as a partner, the firm recently announced.

In the nearly 30 years Mayer Greenberg worked at Stroock, he developed a specialty in joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, real estate investment trusts, private equity funds and the real estate and energy sectors. 

Greenberg — who started his new position on May 14 — told Law360 that working at Kramer Levin would reenergize his practice by allowing him to advise on public REITs and middle-market mergers and acquisitions....
