BMW Hit With Class Action Claiming Engines Guzzle Oil

By Rick Archer (May 20, 2019, 7:34 PM EDT) -- BMW is facing a proposed class action in New Jersey federal court alleging a newer version of its N63 model automobile engines has the same oil-guzzling defect that resulted in a class action settlement earlier this month.

Thomas Isley's Friday filing asks the court to certify a class of buyers of BMW model cars with the N63TU engine installed, claiming BMW North America and its German parent company concealed the engine's oil-burning defect from consumers.
