BigBand Shareholders Seek Final OK On $11M Deal

Law360, New York (August 12, 2009, 2:03 PM EDT) -- Shareholders of BigBand Networks Inc. have asked a federal judge for final approval of an $11 million cash deal that would end a consolidated securities class action against the cable equipment provider.

Lead plaintiff Gwyn Jones filed a motion for final approval Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, saying the compromise came after “extensive arm’s length negotiations.”
