US Off Hook In Lake Mich. Lead-Bullet CWA Case

Law360, New York (August 13, 2009, 4:47 PM EDT) -- The Blue Eco Legal Council has lost its bid to overturn a district court's dismissal of its suit against the FBI, U.S. Department of Justice, Coast Guard and Navy for alleged environmental violations stemming from bullets fired into Lake Michigan from a government gun range.

A three-judge panel on Thursday affirmed the district court's dismissal for lack of standing and jurisdiction in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
