Kevin Hart Sued After Bodyguard Allegedly Injured Bystander

Law360 (June 10, 2019, 9:51 PM EDT) -- Actor and comedian Kevin Hart, along with his production company and others, were sued in New York state court Monday by a woman claiming a member of Hart's security team injured her earlier this year when they knocked her down outside an event.

Carmen Marrero says one of Hart's bodyguards, referred to as John Doe, "seriously and permanently injured" her when he knocked her to the ground outside an event Hart was attending in midtown Manhattan in January.
