Attys Can Seek $20M Deal Fees From Carbon Fiber Co.

Law360 (July 25, 2019, 7:00 PM EDT) -- Two attorneys from a Chicago-based law firm cannot pursue fees out of a previous $20 million patent suit settlement from a carbon fiber manufacturing company's owner, but they can raise that claim against the company, an Illinois federal judge ruled.

U.S. District Judge Thomas Durkin granted Zoltek Corp. owner Zsolt Rumy's motion for dismissal from the case brought by John Mortimer of Wood Phillips Katz Clark & Mortimer and Dean A.
