Google Antitrust Suit Moved To California

Law360 (October 16, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge’s decision to transfer an antitrust case against Google Inc. from Manhattan to northern California has left the plaintiff, a candidate for New York State Attorney General, vowing to file an amended complaint seeking class action status.

Green Party member and attorney Carl E. Person’s suit grew out of his attempts to use the online service to create a “permissive mailing list” of one million people to get his message to supporters. He contends the attempts were thwarted by Google’s allegedly discriminatory pricing scheme....
