Woolsey Fire Suit Bounced Back To Calif. State Court

By Mike LaSusa (August 19, 2019, 6:48 PM EDT) -- Southern California residents and business owners who suffered property damage and losses as a result of the Woolsey Fire last year can pursue their negligence case against the Boeing Co. and Southern California Edison Co. in state court, a California federal judge ruled on Friday.

U.S. District Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald said Boeing had made a procedural mistake that doomed its bid to remove the case to the federal level.
