NY Rep. Collins Denies Feds' Redrawn Insider Trading Case

Chris Collins, his son Cameron and the father of Cameron's onetime fiancee denied insider trading charges in a redrawn indictment Thursday, telling a Manhattan federal judge they plan a flurry of defense motions ahead of their scheduled 2020 trial.

At a conference that stretched nearly two hours, U.S. District Judge Vernon S. Broderick got a preview of a list of possible defense motions to be filed before the Feb. 3 trial of the Republican congressman from upstate Clarence, his son and their co-defendant Stephen Zarsky, the father of Cameron's ex-fiancee Lauren Zarsky.
