Insurer Can't Seek Product Liability Deal Repayment In Wis.

Law360 (September 12, 2019, 6:30 PM EDT) -- Lexington Insurance Co. can’t sue two Taiwanese insurance companies in Wisconsin seeking their reimbursement of a payout in the settlement of a product liability suit against a bicycle company because the court doesn’t have jurisdiction over them, the Seventh Circuit affirmed Thursday.

Neither Hotai Insurance Co. Ltd. — which operated as Zurich Insurance (Taiwan) Ltd. at the time — nor Taian Insurance Co.
