Google Makes Peace With Aloft, Stragent In IP Suits

Law360, New York (September 8, 2009, 6:58 PM EDT) -- Google Inc. has agreed to bury the hatchet with affiliated patent-holding companies Aloft Media LLC and Stragent LLC, which separately sued the technology giant for allegedly infringing patents related to messaging systems and Web-based database applications.

The parties filed joint motions to dismiss Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, seeking to snuff all claims and counterclaims in the respective suits.
