World Trade Center Payout Unchanged Upon Appeal

Law360 (October 19, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal appeals court panel upheld two lower court jury verdicts on Wednesday, giving Silverstein Properties Inc. $4.6 billion in insurance money to help rebuild the World Trade Center site, but not the $7 billion that the developer originally sought.

In its decision, the U.S. Appeals Court for the Second Circuit ruled that the juries made no errors that would require it to set aside the verdicts.
