London Snapshot: Allen & Overy

Law360 (October 23, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- While Microsoft Corp. is probably not going to be ringing up Allen & Overy’s antitrust practice anytime soon, the group does not necessarily see that as a loss.

The antitrust team has picked up its fair share of clients at odds with the software giant, including Sun Microsystems Inc., known for prompting the European Commission to enlarge its investigation into Microsoft’s tying practices, and Symantec Corp., a security maker outspoken against Microsoft’s built-in security features in its Windows Vista operating system.
