Union Fund Balks At Trump Noteholders' Ch. 11 Plan

Law360, New York (September 21, 2009, 4:32 PM EDT) -- A retirement fund serving union employees of bankrupt affiliates of Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc. has objected to a disclosure statement filed by certain secured noteholders, contending that the statement doesn't specify the preservation of collective bargaining agreements.

Unite Here National Retirement Fund, which handles union employees’ retirement benefits for at least three Trump casinos, filed its limited objection to the noteholders’ disclosure statement Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.
