9th Circ. Shoots Down NY Atty's Google Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (September 25, 2009, 12:59 PM EDT) -- A New York lawyer who claims Google Inc.'s alleged monopoly on the search advertising market derailed his candidacy for state attorney general on the Green Party ticket has lost an appeal of a decision to throw out his antitrust case.

The U.S. Appeals Court for the Ninth Circuit affirmed Sept. 24 a federal judge's decision to dismiss former state attorney general candidate Carl E. Person's second amended complaint, filed against Google in April 2007.
