Microsoft, Ergonomic Mouse Inventor Drop Claims

Law360, New York (September 29, 2009, 2:38 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has dismissed intellectual property claims against Microsoft Corp., pulling the plug on a lawsuit brought in 2007 by an inventor who accused the company of stealing his idea for an ergonomic computer mouse.

Judge David Folsom of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas signed off on an agreement between the two parties Tuesday, dropping all relevant claims and counterclaims and ruling that each party would carry its own costs.
