Law360, New York (October 6, 2009, 3:31 PM EDT) -- A federal district judge has allowed a former Starbucks Corp. worker to seek a circuit court opinion on whether her putative class action alleging the coffee chain habitually pays discharged employees later than California law requires should be remanded to state court, where she originally filed the suit.
