Ex-Judges Slam Flynn's Appeal In Dismissal Bid Fight

Circuit on Friday to reject a petition by Michael Flynn asking the appeals court to order a judge to immediately grant the Trump administration's controversial request to dismiss the criminal case against the president's former national security adviser.

The more than two dozen ex-judges, with "centuries of judicial experience" among them, said they were writing out of concern for the "integrity and independence" of the judicial system in a case where the prosecution and the defense "have effectively joined sides."
