Patton Boggs Scores Lawyer From DOJ Enviro Division

Law360, New York (October 15, 2009, 4:40 PM EDT) -- Former U.S. Department of Justice environmental lawyer Scott Stewart has joined Washington-based law firm Patton Boggs LLP.

Stewart spent eight years at the Justice Department's Environment and Natural Resources Division. While there, he worked enforcing a number of environmental laws including the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act.

On a number of significant cases, Stewart was the lead litigator for the government, prosecuting cases against such companies as Chevron Pipe Line Co. and EPEC Polymers Inc. He received...
