Infringement Has Judge's Eye In Ferring-Serenity Remote Trial

Law360 (July 14, 2020, 11:12 PM EDT) -- The New York federal judge overseeing a Zoom bench trial between drugmakers Ferring and Serenity over a pair of patents relating to nighttime urination medication told the parties Tuesday that she finds Serenity's infringement allegations "infinitely more interesting" than Ferring's claims to invalidate the patents.

Ferring Pharmaceuticals is seeking to invalidate two Serenity Pharmaceuticals patents relating to the use of the anti-diuretic compound desmopressin, and Serenity has counterclaimed that Ferring's drug Nocdurna infringes those patents.
