GAO Says CBP Lacks Consistent Medical Care For Detainees

Law360 (July 15, 2020, 8:52 PM EDT) -- A government watchdog audit of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection's performance along the southwest border released on Wednesday found that the agency has poor oversight of its spending, inconsistent medical care for detainees and lacks a good system for tracking deaths, injuries and suicide attempts.
