Excluded CRT Buyers Win Emergency Stay From 9th Circ.

Law360 (July 15, 2020, 6:23 PM EDT) -- The Ninth Circuit gave cathode ray tube buyers who were cut out of more than $500 million in price-fixing settlements a break Tuesday, pressing pause on the final approval of those deals while it takes a closer look.

The panel had previously told the snubbed cathode ray tube buyers that it couldn't hear their complaints until a final decision had been issued. But once the lower court gave the deals its final blessing, the appellate court came through with a temporary stay.
