9th Circ. Lets Sonics Ticket Holders Keep Class Cert.

Law360, New York (October 26, 2009, 4:51 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has upheld certification of a class of former Seattle SuperSonics season-ticket holders in a contract lawsuit over the renewal of season tickets when the team was being moved to Oklahoma.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit issued a short order on Friday denying a petition to appeal a lower court's decision from July 1 granting certification to the class for the former NBA team's fans.
