Starbucks, Ex-VP End Suit Over Move To Dunkin'

Law360, New York (October 28, 2009, 5:55 PM EDT) -- Starbucks Corp. will receive $500,000 as part of a settlement with a former executive it accused of breaching a noncompetition deal by taking a job at coffee competitor Dunkin' Brands Inc., the java giant has announced.

Starbucks filed a notice of settlement with former Division Senior Vice President Paul Twohig on Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington at Seattle.
