Indian Tribe Asks For Labor-Law Exemption

Law360 (November 7, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- A Southern California Indian tribe that owns a lucrative casino has argued before a federal appeals court that tribes are sovereign governments that should be considered exempt from federal labor laws.
