McDonald's Hit With 4th Race Bias Suit By Black Workers

Law360 (October 13, 2020, 10:05 PM EDT) -- McDonald's faces its fourth race discrimination complaint in less than a year after a trio of current and former Illinois employees filed suit Tuesday, accusing the fast food chain of derogatory and disparate treatment that left one mother with less than $40 a week to care for her newborn.

According to a complaint filed in Illinois federal court, three Black women who worked at a Rock Island, Illinois, McDonald's franchise were subjected to harassment, given too few work hours to support themselves and forced out when they complained.
