FCC Clears Way For $944M AT&T, Centennial Deal

Law360, New York (November 6, 2009, 1:52 PM EST) -- AT&T Inc. has completed its $944 million acquisition of Centennial Communications Corp. following conditional approval of the deal by the Federal Communications Commission, which demanded certain divestitures over competition concerns.

The telecommunications giant said Friday that it had finished up the acquisition, which will allow it to expand its wired network coverage to Puerto Rico.
