Comcast Ducks Antitrust Claims But Can't Win Contract Row

Law360 (November 18, 2020, 6:04 PM EST) -- A California federal judge handed Comcast a mixed win Tuesday, tossing a cable installation subcontractor's state law antitrust allegations but refusing to grant the cable giant a quick win on contract breach counterclaims, in a ruling three and a half years in the making.

With the single exception of a notice of supplemental authority filed in May 2018, the docket for Clear Connection Corp.'s lawsuit against Comcast Cable Communications Management LLC has been quiet since the parties agreed in May 2017 to put off trial until they got a ruling on the instant motions.
