Wachovia Slaps Owners Of AHL Team With $19M Suit

Law360, New York (November 24, 2009, 4:32 PM EST) -- The owners of the suspended American Hockey League team the Iowa Chops have been slapped with an amended complaint in a lawsuit by Wachovia Bank National Association over $19 million in defaulted loans and credit.

Robert “Kirby” Schlegel and his father, Robert J. Schlegel, were named in the amended complaint, filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
