EPA Issues Soil Runoff Rule For Construction Sites

Law360, New York (November 24, 2009, 4:13 PM EST) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has issued a final rule in an attempt to help reduce sediment and soil runoff from construction sites across the country.

The EPA said Monday that it believes that the rule, which will take effect in February and will be phased in over four years, will significantly improve the quality of water nationwide.
