Toyota Recalls 110K Tundras Over Corrosion Fears

Law360, New York (November 25, 2009, 5:50 PM EST) -- Toyota Motor Sales USA Inc. has announced a recall involving about 110,000 Tundra vehicles over concerns that spare tires stowed under the truck bed may be separated from the frame's rear cross-member after excessive corrosion from road salts.

Excessive corrosion might occur on the cross-member for certain 2000 to 2003 model year Tundra vehicles operated in cold climate areas with high salt use, the company said in a Tuesday statement.
