Loan Advisers Seek Cert. In Amerimod Wage Suit

Law360, New York (December 4, 2009, 5:23 PM EST) -- Loan modification advisers for American Modification Agency, already targeted by New York state prosecutors for allegedly scamming homeowners facing foreclosure, have moved for class certification in their employment lawsuit alleging the company failed to properly pay them overtime.

The plaintiffs already are poised to win judgment on default, according to their motion for class certification, filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
