JC Penney Settles Wage-And-Hour Suit For $7.5M

Law360, New York (December 8, 2009, 5:39 PM EST) -- J.C. Penney Corp. Inc. has agreed to pay up to $7.5 million to settle a putative wage-and-hour class action brought by current and former employees accusing the retailer of not providing meal and rest breaks and failing to compensate them fully for hours worked.
