Cuomo Targets Insurer Over IPO, Workers' Comp

Law360, New York (December 9, 2009, 7:23 PM EST) -- New York’s attorney general plans to sue insurer CRM Holdings Ltd. for alleged misdeeds related to its initial public offering and the administration of certain workers’ compensation group insurance plans, the company revealed Wednesday.

In a regulatory filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Hamilton, Bermuda, based insurance provider said that it had received a notice of imminent enforcement action from New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo.
