Capital One To End Arbitration Clause Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (December 17, 2009, 6:57 PM EST) -- Days after Bank of America NA reached a tentative deal to end antitrust litigation accusing the bank and several rivals of colluding to force consumers to arbitrate disputes, Capital One NA has negotiated a similar settlement, the plaintiffs said Thursday.

According to counsel for the plaintiffs, they plan to drop all claims against Capital One, although the agreement is still subject to approval from the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
