Pizza Hut Drivers Seek Class Cert. In Wage Suit

Law360, New York (December 23, 2009, 5:46 PM EST) -- Dozens of Pizza Hut delivery drivers are seeking conditional certification of a nationwide class in a suit alleging that the pizza chain's largest franchisee has failed to pay drivers minimum wage.

The 28 plaintiffs in the suit filed their motion for class certification on Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas, arguing that court-ordered notice is necessary to notify drivers around the country of the suit against NPC International Inc., which operates more than 1,100 Pizza Hut locations.
