Adelphia’s Reorganization Plan Faces More Objections

Law360 (November 27, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Trustee in Adelphia Communications Corp.’s bankruptcy proceedings has become the latest entity to object to the cable provider’s reorganization plan, saying it would allow the payment of over $80 million in fees and expenses to nonretained professionals without court oversight.

In court documents filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Manhattan, U.S. Trustee Diana G. Adams said the plan, as it currently stands, would circumvent the requirement that the court review professional fees.
