Patent Suit Over Google Products Survives Bid To Toss

Law360, New York (January 7, 2010, 1:43 PM EST) -- A federal court has denied Google Inc.'s second attempt to squash two technology companies' patent infringement claims related to its search engine and Google Earth, again discounting the Internet giant's argument that the plaintiffs lack standing.

Judge Randall R. Rader on Wednesday turned down Google’s request to reconsider a previous ruling in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas,denying the technology giant’s motion to dismiss the case.
