Funds Want Expedited Hearing Over Goldman Exec Pay

Law360, New York (January 12, 2010, 6:40 PM EST) -- Two pension funds that have filed suits seeking to block billions of dollars in compensation to executives of Goldman Sachs Group Inc. on Tuesday asked the court to schedule an expedited hearing on their request.

The Central Laborers' Pension Fund and the Security Police and Fire Professionals of America Retirement Fund filed motions in the Supreme Court of the State of New York for the County of New York to prevent the firm from issuing 2009 compensation payouts estimated at more than $22 billion.
