Morgan & Morgan Malpractice Case Will Go To Arbitration

By Madison Arnold (October 20, 2021, 7:09 PM EDT) -- A legal malpractice case against Morgan & Morgan by former clients will go to arbitration, after a Florida appellate court on Wednesday upheld a lower court's ruling that an arbitration clause in a retainer agreement between the two parties is binding.

A three-judge panel of Florida's Third District Court of Appeal said that even though the language in Morgan & Morgan's arbitration provision with former clients Winston and Vindra Ramkelawan slightly differs from the state rules, it still meets all three elements a court should consider related to these disputes.
