Intel Hits Back Against NY Antitrust Claims

Law360, New York (January 13, 2010, 6:57 PM EST) -- Intel Corp. has fired back against antitrust claims filed by New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, saying the complaint ignores massive amounts of evidence refuting the allegations provided by Intel during the attorney general's probe.

In a version of Intel's response made public Tuesday, the microprocessor giant argued that it has competed “aggressively, but lawfully,” and denied claims that it has prevented its rivals from effectively competing.

Intel also underlined what it claimed were factual and legal problems with the attorney general's complaint.
