Court Dismisses Class Action Against Foot Locker

Law360, New York (December 1, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- A New York federal court has tossed a class action against Foot Locker Inc. that alleged the company’s employee retirement plan violated the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.

The athletic footwear and apparel retailer said Thursday in a filing with the U.S. Securities Department that the U.S. District Court for the Southern District dismissed the suit without prejudice on Sept. 25.
